android-networkconnect's Issues

Google link not correct

The app is supposed to fetch raw html from Google. The url it uses is "http://www.google.com", but this results in a 302 Moved message being printed in the logger (the app still works perfectly fine). When I changed the address to "https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl", as the message recommended, it worked perfectly, and the HTML shown was the beginning of the meta tags for google. Note that I am referring to the address entered as a parameter to the new DownloadTask().execute() method in MainActivity.java.

issue importing from Android Studio 1.1.0

Fresh install Android Studio 1.1.0
Quick Start menu
Import an Android code sample
Connectivity->Network Connect
Next
Fails.

This is due to the reason the Android Studio 1.1.0 comes installed with Android SDK Build-tools v21.1.2.
Refer to SDK Manager.

But this project requires minimum v21.1.1.
The work around is, before importing code sample, go to SDK Manager and install build-tools v21.1.1.

Which is not user friendly and definitely not a newbie friendly.
