What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use IE11
2. Try to search for some data
3. It will give you null for all fields. IE11 throws the following exception
XML5632: Only one root element is allowed. Line: 2, Column 1

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It should render the actual result

Alfresco 4.2 and IE11

I installed the connector on Windows 2008 R2 server on a fresh Alfresco 
Enterprise 4.0 installation. I followed the instructions from the 
AdminUserGuide. Instead of command:

sudo java -jar bin/alfresco-mmt.jar install amps/mdbc-1.0-SNAPSHOT.amp 
tomcat/webapps/alfresco.war

I used the following:

java -jar bin/alfresco-mmt.jar install amps/mdbc-1.0-SNAPSHOT.amp 
tomcat/webapps/alfresco.war

as I am installing on windows and not UNIX.

Now I cannot login into http://127.0.0.1:8080/share/

Error: The remote server may be unavailable or your authentication details have 
not been recognized.

Please help.

Install and create connector(attached file) as a result - MetaDBConnectors 
Config List is empty

alfresco 4.2c, debian 6 x64

After installing, everything works, except that when I go to Advanced Search, 
in the MetaDBConnected Items Filter, it shows the connector text boxes, but not 
the "Select" button, as is shown in your youtube video.  Attached is a snippet 
of what I see.

The search works when I type a customer name, but being able to Select from a 
list as is shown in your video would be great.

This is on Alfresco 4.0d CE, ubuntu 10.04 64-bit.

I tried adding the control template mdbc-control.ftl in the 
share-config-custom.xml search section, but this led to NodeRef errors 
(although it did display the Select button, it was greyed out, as well as the 
text fields).

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.download the amp source files
2.run the maven build
3.The building fails because repository.sourcesense.com/maven2 lead to a 404 
error

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Maven 2 windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.
Can you provide an updated source we can compile with the new alfresco 
artifacts ?

Hi,
I've just downloaded metadb-connector and followed your instruction to make a 
test, but I can't get it working.
Here my steps:
1.I Installed metadb-connector without problem (also installed sakila db and 
corrected user/password in connectors*.xml)
2.I Uploaded a document to alfresco share
3.I Applied Aspect mdbc:country (but it's the same with mdbc:customer)
4.I Edited Document Properties: the "Select" button is always disabled (grayed 
out), so I can't test the connector.

I can't see anything wrong in alfresco.log nor in catalina.out, and I can see 
the list of connector in admin console.

I'm using alfresco-community-4.0.e on CentOS 6.3 x64

I HAVE DONE ALL THE INSTALLATION STEPS ON MY SERVER WICH IS A A WINDOWS VISTA , 
RUNNING ALFRESCO 4.D WITH POSTGRE . i have installed the amp file . i have 
started mysql and created the sakila database with the data inserted . yet when 
i go to my admin console i dont see anything . am i getting it wrong please 
help !!!

He instalado dbconnector en mi alfresco 4.2.c y funciona los ejemplos 
incluidos, "customer y country", hasta ahi bien. 

Ahora, cree un nuevo conector mdbc:city apuntando a la misma BD sakila, usando 
el mismo esquema de los conectores anteriores.
El hecho es que solo lo muestra en la pagina de "MetaDBConnectors, Lista de 
MetaDBConnectors Configurados", pero al momento de crear una regla, no me 
aparecen en la lista de aspectos.

Mi configuracion es W7PRO/Alfresco 4.2.c/postgres.

Me podrian ayudar..??
