Interestingly, we no longer experience the intermittent issue when adding
a print statement before the rpc call

We used the multiplayer_client.gd ws_webrtc_client.gd from the bomber
demo but perhaps with some slight changes so that could be causing the
issue too

Hi Faless,
While creating the minimum reproducible project I believe I have found the bug😅
The issue was probably because of the following code in Network.gd:
mp_client.rtc_mp.poll()
while mp_client.rtc_mp.get_available_packet_count() > 0:
_log(mp_client.rtc_mp.get_packet().get_string_from_utf8())
I think it was 'stealing' the packets from the rpc call when being run, causing the rest of the code to fail
