I'd like to see the ability to edit the colored preferences (Favorite, Like, Okay, etc). Also, the ability to change the colors themselves to something else. Possibly also the option to use different shapes for each preference (star, circle, square, etc).

I find in some instances wanting to be able to say No/Not Applicable or use white/Not Entered as Not Applicable.

Example: User is a male, and as such cunnilingus cannot be performed on them since they do not have a vagina. None of the options seem particularly appropriate in these circumstances.

Example 2: User is colorblind, and cannot easily distinguish between Green/Blue or Red/Orange. Using other colors or shapes to differentiate them is desired.

Example 3: User's associations lie in another culture where Red does not make sense for No, or user's own play group prefers different associations. Changing the colors as appropriate for the user makes sense.

I'd really like to see an option (a checkbox, perhaps?) for flagging each item on the list as something you haven't tried... but make it in addition to the colored bubbles, so that it indicates how much you'd like to try something versus how much you have liked something you've tried.

I'm having a weird problem on phone atleast that the page goes to the top all the time when trying to scroll down. It's super irritating

I've had a few partners (and myself) get their preferences messed up in the output when they tried to fill this list out on mobile

Not sure if this is an easily fixable issue, but it's happened to a few people!

T.: So, uh, there's several trans people who're weirded out by how it labels trans people (e.g. using "trans" as a noun), and also how it's almost viewing em as a sorta kink or whatever, and also, the "raceplay" thing… Uhm… 's weird. Like, seems a bit racist. Humans don't really've "races", yk.

I am moderator of /r/bdsmpersonals and we have link to kinklist on sidebar.

However it looks like direct linking doesn't reproduce webpage anymore, and i cannot find what licence is used for kinklist, so i am not sure if I am permitted to host it or if issue can be solved other way.

When all or partial selections are made and the user resizes/moves the window, some selections change. I have run into this occasionally when switching tabs and coming back after a short period of time, but am currently only able to reproduce the issue when changing window size or location. I have reproduced the issue in Firefox 89.0 (64-bit), Opera v76.0.4017.177 (64 bit) and Chrome v91.0.4472.101 (64bit) running on Windows 10 Home build 19041.1052. I have been told by others that they have also experienced and reproduced this bug on their own systems.

This bug is likely to affect downstream projects.

The default options are such that receiving/done to self/subject varies between the left and right column, when there are two options available. At a glance it may be difficult for someone to see which option is which. I suggest making the left column a self/receiving/subject option, and the right column a partner/giving/actor option for consistency.

Example: A Dominant wants to quickly scan through a new/potential submissive's kinklist in order to see if what they prefer aligns with their own preferences. At present they need to find the category, then the item, then figure out which preference is which before actually understanding the preference. Making left self quickly lets someone see what another prefers (left) versus what they prefer doing to another (right).

i was really confused about the "giving"/"receiving" questions. it was not clear to me at all who played what position in each activity. several people i talked to said similarly... actually every person i brought this up to said they agreed. i think it would be much clearer if you worded these questions as e.g. "(giving) blowjob (their penis)" or something like that. (っ ̑ω ̑c)
