user_name needs to be email-address

The setup instructions say:
"The plugin hides the default login box once it is enabled (JS only) so make sure that all users's primary email addresses (not username) match users in Azure AD."

This didn't work however.

The suitecrm.log also says:
Query:SELECT users.* FROM users WHERE user_name = '[email protected]' AND deleted=0 LIMIT 0,1

I opened Heidi and changed my user_name in table users from abc to [email protected] and that did the trick.

Preserve caller urls after authentication

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
If I email a link to a record on a CRM module the recipient if he is already logged in and clicks on the link, he is correctly taken to the desired record. If, however, he is not logged in he bumps into the login form, if the user correctly authenticates with the office365/azure authentication feature of the plugin, then the initial url is lost depending on the return url set.
If, on the other hand, one logs in with the SuiteCRM credentials, one correctly goes to the record pointed to by the link.

If the caller url is different from the return url use the initial caller url after authentication

SSO not working - Button doen't work

Hello,

the SSO button is not working.

After the configuration the button appears on login, but does not work.

It does not matter what I use for the Client/ Tenant ID, it does nothing.

I hope this will be fixed soon.

User does not exist in SuiteCRM, kindly contact your administrator

Hi,

I have done the required configuration as mentioned in the readme.md

After that I got the sign in using Azure AD login page and tried to login with Azure AD email ID, it says "user [email protected] does not exist in SuiteCRM, kindly contact your administrator"
I created this same user in SuiteCRM DB and then I tried it worked.

Later I found that in Azure AD app registration, email permission was not given, I configured that then this error went away. But somehow login did not happen and the screen remains at the same page at login screen not going inside suitecrm.

Could you please advise what is missing in this configuration.

Attempting to (un)install and test

I installed this in a test instance to see if it worked, very interesting project and see lots of benefit to this if i can get it working :-)

plugin installs without complaint, can get into the settings page and configure what looks correct. click apply, start testing.

  1. when authenticating it seems to work well (goes to the O365 process+MFA, etc), however the redirect does not actually log the user in. it merely redirects back to the logon page.
  2. when i have gone to remove and uninstall, it has gone well, however now i can not log into the CRM instance at all. seems that upon uninstall you don't change the authentication provider back to its previous setting in the configs?

just working through those 2 pieces if you had any ideas?

invalid package

hello,

When I download your package and upload it to SuiteCRM(Install plug-in using Module Loader, Admin > Module Loader) , the system displays “invalid package”. I tried it with different browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Edge, IE),but it dose not work.

SuiteCRM Version 7.11.8
Sugar Version 6.5.25 (Build 344)

AADSTS165000 error

Hi,

I'm having a bit of trouble getting this module to work in SuiteCRM. The installation part is ok, and as far as I can tell I followed the configuration guidelines correctly. But I can't seem to get my user authenticated. Microsoft treats me to a AADSTS165000 error:

Is there any guidance you can offer? Maybe misconfiguration of the App Registration in some way, etc.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
