The GNUstep gui library is a library of graphical user interface classes written completely in the Objective-C language; the classes are based upon Apple's Cocoa framework (which came from the OpenStep specification). *** Larger patches require copyright assignment to FSF. please file bugs here. ***
everything compiles. but on run, I get: Error (objc-load):Error relocating /System/Library/Bundles/libgnustep-back-030.bundle/libgnustep-back-030: XmuLookupStandardColormap: symbol not found
Copy&Paste has multiple issues, especially when working with other applications (e.g. GIMP, LibreOffice...) Let me track cumulatively what works and what not.
Works:
Copy&Paste within PRICE of small/medium sized images
Copy&Paste within PRICE of big images (just fixed) in a clean status
Copy from PRICE to GIMP of medium sized image
Copy from GIMP to PRICE of medium sized image
Copy from Ink to LibreOffice of Rich Text in a "clean" environment
Does Not work:
Copy from PRICE to GIMP of big images (after a long while: There is no image data in the clipboard to paste)
Copy from GIMP to PRICE of big images
Copy&Paste of big images, after a copy failed in GIMP - nothing happens
Copy from LibreOffice to Ink of Rich Text: only standard text is copied
Copy from Ink to LibreOffice of Rich Text may have spurious information (e.g also copies an unknown image.tiff name) after playing around with copy&pasting
could this log be changed into a debug log so not to clogger normally the screen? It is frequent in display on exported display, especially rootless servers like on Mac and Win
The first GNUstep application launched in an X11 has a bad icon in the mini-window when using WindowMaker. It is recognizable since it is the Alphachannel, first filled with garbage then quickly after application start it becomes black, the Icon is seen as a black silouhette.
