As per 1979 standard "BEER FLAVOUR TERMINOLOGY" MEILGAARD et al

This ensures that the current namespace references it's versioned self at all times. eg: The ontology will always provide https://rdf.ag/o/beer#term owl:sameAs https://rdf.ag/o/beer-2024-02-16#term as a triple, but henceforth previous ontologies versions will not reference the up-to-date namespace https://rdf.ag/o/beer#

As per https://www.w3.org/TR/owl-time/#time-prov

this is meant to record instance-level beer temperature within specific containers. See w3c/sdw-sosa-ssn#196

All revisions will now create a change-set for each added term using the ChangeSet vocabulary. The change log will be generated from this.

To better align with Prov ontology.

Currently the versioning of the ontology terms is recorded in the url https://rdf.ag/o/beer-2024-02-16#term and the latest version is https://rdf.ag/o/beer#term.

At issue is that practitioners tend to use the latest and greatest for their data without regard to the fact that https://rdf.ag/o/beer#term may not return a versioned ontology term that doesn't behave in the way that they expect. Some mix of url rewriting and a series of owl:sameAs statements is going to be required to ensure that the ontology that is returned is always versioned to ensure that applications get consistent results when referencing the ontology.
