Working archive of the now-defunct Bitzino.

Setup

One-time setup. Preferably from a venv :godmode:

git clone https://github.com/gingeleski/bitzino.git
cd bitzino
pip install -r requirements.txt

Running

pwd should be bitzino/ then just do

python run.py

History

Bitzino broke ground in the online gaming universe as...

  • First Bitcoin casino
  • First provably fair casino

Its proprietor was known as "Libertaad" (Reddit).

Its technical blog had a number of pieces on proving game fairness through cryptography.

The site shutdown in 2016 for unknown reasons.

Strip login functionality

At this time I'm trying to create a working reference version of the site.

This doesn't call for the user management (working casino) stuff. Frankly I don't want to code that backend as I'm already planning to do the games.

There is already means to play with fun money/credits and my fork will focus on that.
