I'm not 100% certain, but region value 3 might only apply to Wii. The Wii Menu Changer uses this region code to ensure it can be run regardless of what the system region is set to.
If that is the case, then I'll need to add a check to assume anything higher than 2 is invalid for GameCube.

Oh alright. That makes sense, was trying to make a GC ISO region-free but was curious if this actually worked. Looks like I'll have to find another way. Thanks for replying!

Apparently certain debugging devices do allow "Region-Free" to work for GCN, but I'm not sure what these devices are. Added the note anyway, so it'll show up for "Region-Free" GCN discs.

I see. I do remember that unlicensed Datel discs used some kind of exploit via the AppLoader to live patch the IPL to be region-free, but no idea how to do that. Anyways thank you!
