Catching Cats

Tasks

  • Implement a catching mechanic
  • Handling catching difficult cats

How does a bait work?

It works by checking the player's inventory system for the fish that the cat wants (this happens upon trigger enter).

Procedures

  1. Catch!
  2. Store the cats unto the house
  3. The house has an initial timer on [3] Gameplay, it is continuous until the 20th day.
  4. The cats stored has a tame bar meaning it needs to be kept tamed through food.

Revamp Tutorial

Change the tutorial and make it easier to understand.

Change the:

  • Dialogue Lines
  • In-game Tips
  • Make sure to only show the tips if its the first time

Sound Design

When does it game over?

  • It happens when the timer is finished meaning it reached the end of time.

  • Create a timer that is accessible on any scene

How it works?

  1. Go to the port
  2. Get teleported to a new scene wherein the levels are randomly made (done through diff. scenes random picking).
