Actually even if you suspend image capture (CAM_pauseCapture()) a lot of CPU time is wasted in pointless Timer and ADC interrupts

Implement a stop function that stops and de-initializes all the used peripherals

Instead of using two flags (rising, falling) simply use a variable to keep the current clock state. The variable is updated in the callbacks.

Something like CAM_config(reg1, reg2, reg3, ...) that automatically resets the camera and loads the register values

Let the user set the image size he wants, for example with something like

if the image size wanted is different from the standard 128 x 126 size.
