Bubbo Books

Bubbo Books is an app build with React Native Expo for Android or iOS.It is a public database where the users can add or delete books.

  • Book Management: Add, edit, and delete books with details such as title, author, year published, genre, ISBN and cover image.
  • Image Upload: Easily upload and display book cover images.
  • Book Details: View detailed information about each book, including summaries and publication years.
  • Validation: Form data validation.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • You need to have installed Node.js and npm.
  • Here you can download and install both of them.
  • I recomend you to download the "Recomended for Most Users" version.

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/GalisGalisteo/bubbo-books-front-end
  1. Install dependencies:
cd bubbo-books
npm install

Usage

In order to use the app you need an Android or iOS simulator. For Android you can use Android Studio, and for iOS you can use Xcode for Mac users or Appetize.io for Windows users.

When you already install all the dependencies, you should run the next command:

npm start

Here you can find a video explaining the app's functionality.
