I was able to get things working, but I feel like I ended up copying a lot of the solution code/lesson plan. Not sure if I would be able to do this from scratch, and I'm a bit confused on how certain things fit together.

Angular is tough. I feel like there are a bunch of ways to do things and I'm not sure when I need to use what.

i created a new copy of Grumblr because of some issues I was having that I couldn't resolve. Since this new copy was not a fork, I could not create a pull request.
