At on-site registration, the carts do not clear from the register after completing a successful transaction; leaves the previous transaction's information on the tablet screen unless manually cleared.

I've included a string in the settings view to specify the full URL of what APIS endpoint the app should talk to, but no matter what is put there by the user, the default, hard-coded string is used.

Square has since released an SDK for working more directly with the reader in a more lightweight fashion than shelling out an intent to the POS app every time. Using the reader SDK should speed up transactions significantly.
