Please, let us block/auto-decline group invites from ignored people. The guy I blocked started spamming me with group invites.

Describe the problem

i have a long list of ignored names, but i am unable to remove any names from it. when i click the remove player button, it just freezes the game for a second but doesn't bring up the list. it turns out that someone i had previously ignored is now in my guild so it's annoying that i can't see them chat

What steps will reproduce the problem?

There are history tabs in the Interface Options for filtered messages (e.g., spam, guild advertisements). It would be nice to have a history for messages filtered by BadBoy_Ignore.

(I attempted to add this myself, but was running into some strange errors. I'm not very familiar with LUA or the WoW API.)

I'm having to get rid of Global Ignore List addon due to a script error.
What I'm really going to miss from GIL is the ability to block NPCs. I can keep selected NPCs from clogging up my chat window.
It works like this:
/gi npc Baine Bloodhoof
And then i'll never again see any text from Baine in my chat window.
It's very helpful in cities like Stormwind and Boralus where I may spend a lot of time doing auctions or bank things.
I'm considering trying BadBoy and if the option to ignore NPCs was available, it wouldn't even be a question.
Please consider adding this. :)

Hello!

Please, let us ignore people by inputing their name (like we can input key words in BadBoy_CCleaner), not select from the drop down menu. e.g. we had a guild leaver who basically called everyone dogs and scum and left after 2 days in the guild when we failed to provide his majesty with the Curve achievement, I want to ignore him, but he's not on the drop down list.

Hope you'll like the idea and it's not hard to implement.

I can still see emotes from people I am ignoring. Any chance this can be rectified? Thanks. :)

i think this is not intended. just wanted the boosting spam to go aways. the plugin for guild adds is not installed. as soon as i disable the ignore plugin the guild add is back. the blocked spam via "trigger words" is still blocked. found no options to turn guild adds on/off

My brother says that he can still see speech bubbles from people he's ignoring; I have them disabled, so I can't verify, but might be worth looking into? Thanks again. :)

for now i need to run /badboy and select the ad-users to block them.
can we add a menu in right-click menu of chat frame to block user instantly ?
