I tried to compile dwm with my personal custom keybindings.
Follow all the instructions, copy the keys.h.default to keys.h, made all my changes and run "phyup dwm"

The following error appeared.

I really like this OS but its using systemD, any chance you could make an artix variant?

So I installed phyOS today via a bootable USB, everything went well. After the installation the OS told me to reboot my system. Like any human, I did. After rebooting and selecting phyOS in the boot menu nothing happened. I just got a black screen, not even a blinking dot, nothing.

This distro looks absolutely stunning, so I hope that I can try it out as soon as possible, probs to the developer.

Hi, even though i tried install the OS in diferrentes hardwares, VMs; donwloaded several times, burned on cd or usbs, It always thrown an error of FSTAB. that coudnt write the idkwtf of the idkwtf.

I just noticed that this also happens on an installed system.

Anaconda does not work. It says "commandnotfounderror" even after running conda init zsh (and the conda command works, but the conda activate command does not work).

When I use lf with the quick keys win + r the previews of images, videos and documents do not work, but if I run it from the terminal it does.

Hi. I installed phyOS using recommended options for Nvidia cards with Nvidia application pack.

When I start my PC, I have a black screen with text "starting Linux zen". When I am trying to start with Linux kernel I have same result. I also can't switch to tty7. Not black screen, it doesn't exist. Like hotkey doesn't work.

When I login in TTY, DWM starts, but with wrong resolution 3:4.

I also have some bugs with widgets, but I think I think this is due to a monitor detection error.

When I ran the graphical installer, everything worked fine.

The windows try to get into place but then it starts jumping everywhere like crazy. The only thing that would fix it is going into fullscreen mode. This is before you have installed phyos, and when you install its EVEN MORE BUGGY. Windows jump everywhere, when I press right click the menu pops up and starts going everywhere. This is probably more of a issue with my vm or the settings I put in I'm not really sure. I will try and boot it on a laptop I don't use anymore, if the same issue happens I'll update you. I have a Nvidia GPU so I downloaded 1.0.2 - beta iso. I will try another vm soon, since I don't have good internet right now. I would add a video but its too large.

The ssh-agent is to be able to do the updates of the dotfiles? it is not clear to me...

I tried in Phios virtual box and KVM but I keep getting python fstab error. I have configured both online and offline, both manually and automatically but I still get the same error.

First things first, I don't know much about arch Linux, I'm saying that because PhyOS is based on it.
Basically, I installed the distro, and I was having trouble with the Plymouth, so I tried to boot the "safe mode", and I was having the same issue, it was hanging on the "starting Terminate plymouth boot screen" or something, so I boot the terminal before it tried to star that service, and it booted correctly, but in the safe mode, so is used pacman to uninstall "Plymouth-git", but he safe mode uses another image, not the root image (I think is it how it says), so I tried to do the same thing on the normal boot, but when appear the login terminal, I type one key, and it doesn't work, I type it again, and It appears, I type the login, then press enter, appears to type the password, and for some reason, every key on my keyboard is the same thing as hitting enter, so I type the first letter of the password, it says that the login is incorrect, and it is, because a couldn't type the entire password, I tried the safe mode again to see if it was the same way, but It isn't, it's normal in that image, and now I can boot normally into the safe mode, but when o try the normally mode, it just stays in the spalsh screen indefinitely, and when I remove the splash screen, appears the login lines, that I can't type the correct password to boot the system.

And because of that, I need help, I literally don't have any idea of what is happening.

After I finish the intall and reboot, it says GRUB can't find the enable shim lock command. I tried with and without secure boot and no difference. I also tried to chroot into the install from the live usb and reinstall it that way. but it either says the efi isn't found or it isn't a valid efi partition. Am I doing something wrong?

I add anything in the pdwm control center and but it doesn't save the changes when I close it, I go back to how it was by default.

On Lenovo Ideapad S340-15API, ISO released 5 hours ago is installed, it does not open st terminal, does not work from super+d and does not open pressing super+return
Also it writes "broken" as a window name with any window being active

Is there ever gonna be an arm64 version of phyOS? is there a way to compile phyOS for arm64?

i understand this is still in beta but id like to inform you that when i load the iso live from usb dwm crashes after everything loads in and kicks me back to the login manager

pc specs are listed:
i3 3220
gtx 1650 super
8gb ddr3
usb was 32gb "Sandisk Ultra USB 3.0" (on bottom)

On startup (in live via USB flash) there is sddm login screen with only "liveuser" user.
Password "liveuser" don't work.

I was trying to find where to set my defalut browser from chromium to brave, but i didnt find anithing in keys.h.default

After holding down the power button to power off everytime I boot back into phyos I hang at a black screen.

Since I installed phyOS I have not had any problem and I am going for more than 1 year of use and everything is perfect. One question, how can I modify the source of st and add patches and so on?

note: picom was started without any parameters

After installing emacs it turned nearly transparent, even when it was master and in focus

It says that /run/..../airootfs.sfs doesn't exists.

I used the ram installation method (in GRUB) and virtualbox.

I upgraded the system .When I reboot It does't load anything.Echo welcome massage and loginscreen appears .Loginscreen doesn't load anything.

Hello, I am from China, I like your phyOS very much, but in the Chinese environment, the st terminal has been unable to display Chinese, even though I have downloaded Chinese fonts, it does not help. I try to install other desktop environments, such as cutefish. The terminal that comes with cutfish can display Chinese very well. Can you add support for Chinese in the next version?

I booted from USB and it's stuck at blinking screen. I've also tried NVIDIA boot option.

My hardware:
CPU: Intel i3-6098p
Motherboard: MSI H110M-PRO-VD
GPU: NVIDIA GTX1050Ti [GP107]

Opening pulsemixer takes about 10 to 20% of my CPU and i cant close it even trough gotop or with [Super + q]. This lead to me opening multiple instances that cant be closed, overheating my CPU.

how did u manage to make it so much smooth,specially while scrolling.
