I'm from the Chapel team and I found that your Atom text highlighting package was out of date. I've gone ahead and updated it for you in my pull request, if you would approve it. My understanding is that it should automatically get pushed out to Atom users, yes?

Anyway, if you would like us to continue maintenance of Chapel syntax on Atom, we'd be happy to add the package to the Chapel page. Just let me know of your plans either way.

As pointed here , there is incorrect syntax highlighting for the escaped characters . And the chapel tmbundle has resolved this issue by adding this PR . So , atom package should also be updated .

There are some keywords i.e ( inout, out , ref, subdomain , sync and opaque ) which is previously not present in chapel Tmbundle . But now it is updated . So, I think this should be updated in atom packages also for correct syntax highlighting .
