Appreciate the top and bottom images as well as the schematics, but I think a BOM is needed because it's hard to see if the passives are 0806 or 0603 :)

I propose to use MCP23017/MCP23008 - an I2C port extender to handle button press via interrupts
and use TCA9548A (or similar) as an OLED screen multiplexer.

Hi, I have a sugestion to replace the ssd1306 OLEDs with a 8/7 pin square color screen, to make more similar than StreamDeck

Create above mentioned files for circuit board design to make it possible to order a pcb

This would allow a higher density of macros per board.

I was wondering how large could this scale up to? IE is it possible to have say 9 or more screen/buttons?

I was thinking it might be cool to have one as the max scale that it can go to, or at least as many as the StreamDeck XL.

And would it be possible for there to be a BOM and links to parts for such a scaled up version?

can i do with Arduino uno?

Using all the components listed, I finished building it and when I plug it in after puting in the SD card containing the config file, the screens light up bright but do not display any image contained in the SD card. Using the serial function in the configurator doesn't help.
If you have any idea of what could be causing the issue feel free to tell me.

I ordered smd shift registers and I'd like to order new PCBs with only the shift register changed to the smd format.
Im used to work in easyeda, so if I need new software please leave you suggestion....
As a highschool student I used also Sprint Layout, but I dont have the SPECIFIC version of that programm anymore.

When Im done I can open a pull request, if you wish to have that in the main branch.

we are developing a concept for a 4x3 version (and similar) right now
We still need:

• through hole pcb files
• SMD pcb files
• 3d files
• cases designed around above mentioned 3d files

It would be nice to have a rough sketch with the distances drawn on it. So a simple rough sketch similar to a technical drawing. So we could create a rough design for a housing in a cad software to be able to print it later directly in 3d.
