ps-move-setup's Issues

Error building: 'global::' already contains a definition for 'Correlation'

I'm receiving the following error when attempting to build the project:

Assets/Src/ControllerRegistration.cs(14,15): error CS0101: The namespaceglobal::' already contains a definition for Correlation'

I'm also getting the following error:

System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file "D:\SachsLab\Tools\VR\PSMove\PS-Move-Setup\Assets\Plugins\MathNet.Numerics\MathNet.Numerics.dll.mdb".

Needs instructions

What do I do after I run the .exe?

Should the controller be tied to the HMD before I run the exe?
How do I stop collecting data points and test the coregistration?

This info can go in the README, but some on-screen instructions would be nice.

Implement rotation registration

I'm trying to do it this way, with the DK2 and PS Move attached together:

  • read the raw sensors values from the DK2 and PS Move
  • transform the data so it's in the same earth referential frame (may not be needed, but useful for testing)
  • compute the orientation of both devices from their magnetometer and accelerometer values when the attachment is still (using this http://cache.freescale.com/files/sensors/doc/app_note/AN4248.pdf)
  • compute the difference between the orientation of the DK2 calculated from the optical and inertial systems
  • apply this difference to the PS Move orientation calculated with the Madgwich algorithm to assess if it's correctly oriented in the DK2 camera referential frame
  • save the corresponding matrix for later use

Help needed

Hey Fred,
Thank you so much for sharing your code. I am trying to use PS move and Kinect for a School project that I am doing. After a lot of struggle, I ve got the PS eye to work on Windows 7 machine. But the PS move adjusts so that if I point the wand upwards, the move is pointing to the front. How do I work around this? Hopefully there is a way to do this in C# (I don't wanna mess with openCV!)

HMD pitch is off

The 3D representation of my DK2 has the wrong initial rotation, and when I pitch it up, the game object pitches down. Is it just me?
