what means "missing t9n" ?

i used 1.2.0 alpha, and When I opened the Armor file, the word 'Missing t9n' was printed next to the armor series name. In addition, all items are left blank and click to cause a crash. I think this problem is related to language but I am not a programmer but I do not know in detail.
Just in case I am using Korean.

using mhwnochunk instead mhwchunktool in readme.md

in Readme.md, that's a bad idea to extract and merged by mhwchunktool and time waste

change it to use mhwnochunk, checked "Merge all chunk" and drag chunk12.bin, it will merge all 12 chunks, and extract directories you want is better solution

I still can't load the file with the latest version

It show that Error while loading D:\xxxxx\nativePC\common\equip\bow.wp_dat_g:
magic byte invalid: expected 444D47, found 1355019B
Other files can't be loaded。
why is that? please look and help me

Validation of skills per piece in armor.am_dat

See issue #3.

  • Validate number of skills does not exceed a total of 3. Since the slots for set bonus skills can be used to add more than 3 regular skills, and having more than 3 regular skills per piece crashes the game, this should be validated.
  • Validate number of set bonus skills. Since the slots for regular skills can be used to add more than 2 set bonus skills, and having more than 5 set bonus skills in total crashes the game, a warning should be shown.

Can't open g_lance.wp_dat

When I try to open g_lance.wp_dat it gives me an error.

This file is freshly extracted from chunkG1.bin so I don't know what's causing the issue.

Gem Slots Limited to Lvl3

Gems Slots can go up to Lvl4 since Iceborne, just need to increase the Editors Input limit to 04 on Slot Level

Armor crafting menu crash

Upon using the 1.01 alpha release and in this subsequent release i am running into a crash whenever i go to craft new armor in the game while using armor files edited with the editing suite. Additionally it will also crash when swapping decorations or in the change equipment screen or crafting weapons ect, if i am in the menu too long; roughly long enough to swap a few decorations. This is repeatable and appears to stem from some form of corruption in the armor file. It is more pronounced when trying to load the armor creation menu as the menu does not come up at all; the preview window starts to come up, and it insta-crashes.

random reading on hbg/bow/lbg wp_dat_g

hello i happen to check your app, i found something unussual, i tried open the chunk folder using the menu on the top left, then i opened bow.wp_dat_g but it shown uncomplete list off data and at the desc column it says lbgnumbers, tried the other wp_dat_g files the reading keep showing lbg data, which is weird.

i tried to get new chunk file, then redo it, but its still giving the same lbg data on hbg/bow.wp_dat_g

Update for mhw iceborne

Will there be an update for iceborne?

I get a magic byte error when trying to edit new files.

Certain Id's crashing Bowgun files

Noticed while exploring both Heavy and Light Bowguns that some of the id's mainly the ones with ID number 123 and above (124,125, etc) crash the application upon browsing them

Max rarity only has 10

Hi,
I recently found that when I was editing the bow id 205 in bow.wp_dat_g, the original rarity in game is 12, however I can only reach 10 in mhw armor edit, and then the game shows a rarity of 11 for this weapon.

Maybe you forget to change the limit of rarity to adapt IceBorne update?

ON 1.5.0 missing t9n

came from 1.2. updated all chunk files on merge (actually created new). Copied the armor.am_dat to different folder. when i open that file in editor mod directory (single armor.am_dat file on another folder) names are missing t9n. But when i open the file on the chunk directory itself i could see the name. wasnt like this on 1.2. Thanks

Cant Open skill_data.skl_dat

i cant open skill_data when i try to open it drop the error : Magic byte ontype skldat:expected 0087, found 00bc
