We currently include Package Control as extra-data in this flatpak. However, Package Control does not version their file at the location where we look for the extra-data. They just replace the same file with a new version, and it has a different signature.
This is bad, because it completely breaks the upgrading story for the whole app, not just Package Control. If we ship any update to the app, the extra-data will be downloaded at update time, and if Package Control has shipped a new version in the meantime, the extra-data download will fail.
When I followed up with Package Control about this (wbond/package_control#1508), they said we should not be automatically downloading Package Control. At the time this app was added to Flathub, there was no other convenient way to get Package Control besides installing it as extra-data, but now Sublime Text has an in-app feature that will download and install Package Control, so that's less of a problem.
So clearly the right thing to do is remove the Package Control extra-data and ship a Sublime Text update on Flathub. However, I believe that that will leave existing installations without Package Control, which will break packages for basically all existing users (almost nobody uses Sublime Text without Package Control) and it won't be obvious what the problem is.
This issue is about figuring out how to do this. Either we figure out how to preserve people's existing Package Control installation during the upgrade even if we don't have the extra-data anymore; or we pop up a very loud message telling users how to initiate the in-app installation of Package Control.

Expected behavior
After opening the application and entering the text to the editor should be able to navigate the mouse.
...
Actual behavior
After starting the application and entering text in the editor window, you can not use the mouse. The application interface works, you can click on the File, Edit ... buttons but you can not use the mouse to select the entered text. The program behaves as if the place where the file is edited was blocked for the mouse. This is only for the flatpak version. The deb version works fine.

Can we expect it to be packaged in the context of this repo or should it be a separate flatpak?
Is anybody working on it?
I have a similar issue to this Minecraft's FlatHub repo.
Here apparently quotes are missing around the $@

sublime text has an ARM64 version for about a year now. it would be nice if this could be added to the flatpak
build-in and custom build systems can't find the given commands, e.g. java:
bash: javac: command not found
This also happens in scripts which are called in build systems:
/.../script.sh: line 32: pandoc: command not found
adding a PATH option or a prefix to a command (e.g. using /usr/bin/pandoc) doesn't solve the problem.
This problem doesn't occur in the snap version of sublime text.
I noticed a similar problem in atom installed using flatpak.
Sublime Text has features/hooks to open Sublime Merge.
Currently, this doesn't seem to work, even if both paks are installed.
Repo is still using the EOL version as its runtime.
org.freedesktop.Platform 21.08 is no longer receiving fixes and security updates. Please update to a supported runtime version.
Can it be Updated to a version being supported 23.08 as of currently.
The menu is located inside of the application instead of being exported into the global menu in my KDE Plasma 5.18. There is referenced issue, there was suggested to use final arg --talk-name=com.canonical.AppMenu.Registrar
, however, it doesn't actually work for the current package. Also, it doesn't work for Sublime Merge flathub package.

In a nutshell, I have the flatpak version of ST3 downloaded from the Pop! Shop. The Microsoft TypeScript Plugin for ST3 needs access to nodejs to run, but the node executable does not exist in the sandbox.
I have also tried downloading the node SDK extension for flatpak from the Pop! Shop, as a possible way to add node to the sandbox, but this does not seem to work either; and node still isn't present in the sandbox.
Is there a way to add the binary I want to the flatpak sandbox ? Or is it some issue on your end, where you need the flatpak wrappers over ST3 to call some flatpak-specific command that allows the sandbox to get node from the host system ?
Thanks for your help.
Please, if this Flatpak is still maintained, update its runtime to 23.08. The currently used 21.08 is outdated and not supported anymore. Thanks!
