garrus's Issues

blog support with markdown

The blog part kind of works but kind of doesn't work at all. Permalinks are not happening and I need to manually include a markdown processor due to use handlebars in .MD files

Is gulp actually needed?

So roughly half of the tasks don't actually use any gulp specific modules. Maybe it would be better to use make and webpack to build everything

ES2015 support

  • - Install Webpack
  • - Install Babel
  • - Change example files to ES2015 & standard js
  • - ES2015 Linting

First release blockers

As of 15th November, the following critical issues are outstanding:

  • - CSS minification
  • - CSS nesting
  • - Grid system
  • - Watching (all tasks)
  • - Webpack config/example
  • - JS Linting
  • - JS Minification
  • - Basic Readme
  • - Travis CI

consider multi audit tasks

  • auditcode - for unit testing & linting src code
  • auditsite - tota11y
  • auditperf - webpagetest/similar (for travis ci?)

switch from metalsmith to hugo

even though this is another dependency with go, hugo is well documented and fully featured. Finding other solutions to be a lot of work in understanding vague documentation

modernizr

Can we do this dynamically i.e. turning features on/off from the config file?

improve task output logging

Noticed in linting with web pack especially.

Because the tasks are running in parallel, the output is a bit crazy.

Add sass

I could probably keep just postcss but as an interim I'd rather just stick with what I/everyone else knows.

  • - Remove unneeded postcss plugins (but keep postcss)
  • - Add gulp-sass
  • - Add eyeglass
  • - Add susy integration
  • - Add sass-mq
