After having enabled 2FA on my account I've started following the procedure described here to obtain a kerberos ticket. I found it really annoying to have to issue two commands for initialize the credential cache prior to obtain the ticket.
I then discovered that the same can be much more straightforward by using fkinit as described here.

So, is there any reason to not point users to use fkinit?

This is probably the most common thing after creating an account, yeah? I know it's pretty obvious in the new Noggin UI, but I think it'd be friendly to document it.
