persistentpin-webextension's Issues

Feature request: Open all pinned tabs in this window

Lovely extension!

I have the "Pin the websites in all open windows" option disabled, as it often is annoying with popup windows, but at times I would like to be able to tell the extension to open all pinned tabs in this window. I don't think it is possible to do right now.

Pins doubled on restart

If Firefox is closed with pinned tabs that match the pins saved in the extension, the pins are opened twice in the next Firefox session.

The workaround seems to be to open a new, empty window, close the one with tabs, then close the new window - then only the saved tabs will persist.

Instructions seem needed but missing

Thank you for your AddOn.

I could find no instructions. I thought perhaps one is meant to work out how to use the addOn via the link to App Tab Initializer. Yet, that link is broken.

Pinned tab gone on restart

Unfortunately, the AddOn appears not to work.

I went to this page (the page within the Mozzila addOn webpages for the addOn), installed the AddOn, pinned the current page, restarted and the page was no pinned. Restarting Firefox, revisiting the page, pinning it, and restarting once more gave the same result, i.e. no pin. EDIT: and I tried pinning this github page, and I got the same (lack of) result.

Save Pin according to Container

I am wondering if it is possible to bind the saved pin to container. Useful when we need to login with different accounts to the same website.

Feature: Pinned list export/import

Due to Firefox profile corruption, it'd be great to have an export/import mechanism without having to retype them all in the addons settings. I lost many pins due to these being lost in a corrupted FF storage.

Error: File not found

Instead of opening test.com, it opens moz-extension://[UUID]/test.com which shows

Error: File not found.

Any idea what's happening?

Custom icon

I would like to have a custom icon for this extension. However since I much better with code than with images feel free to suggest something.

Grab current pinned tabs from browser button or context menu item.

I am enjoying using your Persistent Pin extension. I use it in two ways (1) To pin sites I visit often (2) To pin sites that I am currently working on. The latter type of pinned tab needs to change fairly regularly.

I would find it useful to have an easy way (perhaps a button, or a context menu item) to "grab current pinned tabs".

Localize to different languages

I would like for this extension to be available in as many languages as possible. So if you know any language feel free to contribute. I think it should be pretty self-explanatory if you look at the _locales folder, but if you need any help: Feel free to ask!
