Problem:

• Remove int identity input parameter from llclose()
• Need to add llclose() to the main() function
• Remove additional files like msg.h and msg.c (merge the code into the utils file or into the llclose() function)
• Solve the warnings
• (OPTIONAL) change printf() to log functions available on utils.c file

• Accept ports like /dev/ttyS0, /dev/ttyS1, /dev/ttyS10, /dev/ttyS11

• When a UA is not successfully received at the disconnection (function llclose()), a timeout is need so that the receiver app can terminate the program

• Old termios was not stored and therefore not changed back to at the end of the program

Problem:

• For some reason, the program is not able to run correctly in x86 series processors, however, it does run on Arm series processors (tested on Macbook 14 M1Pro).
• Buffer memory is being modified for some reason during the transmission from the transmitter to receiver, for example:

Before transmission:
buffer[i] = 0xad
buffer[i+1] = 0xa2

After transmission:
buffer[i] = 0xffffffad
buffer[i+1] = 0xffffffa2

Note*: buffer is char array type
