I've been having an issue getting my custom post types to show up in the setting of the plugin. So I started trying to debug the issue.

In settings.php, in fields( $fields ) I dropped in a var_dump($post_types) to see what post types it was pulling up. From the output it shows that it's only finding built in post types.

So then I went to my post creation hook.:
add_action( 'init', 'create_my_post_types', 0);
I added an echo inside of it, and sure enough, the echo is happening after the var_dump.

If a post is duplicated, edited and merged back to original, I think that the correct behaviour should be to not modify the original post creation date.

I've seen that the default option to copy date is set to false:

"duplicate_post_copydate" => false,

But I can not find when or why date is being copied when merging to original.

Is it a bug? Are you planning to add filters or make these options configurable?
