Not a whole lot, just make it a bit less aggressive so that it blends better with the rest of the instruments, because I don't think it fits with the actual intensity and volume. I will share a zip with a Sample which is very similar to the one we have now, but maybe you find a better one.

Please add return false or e.preventDefault() to keyboard event handlers to let the browser know the page is using them.

Otherwise the browser assumes it can interpret keystrokes as keyboard shortcuts, and this clashes with the page. I have find-as-you-type enabled in Firefox and typing A D opens a search box searching for "ad", because the page doesn't say it shouldn't.

Just as a heads-up, this website might be breaking the conditions to use the .cat domains. As explained in the official FAQS of the domain (https://domini.cat/en/faqs/):

The .cat domain is a cultural and linguistic domain that belongs to the whole of the Catalan-speaking community and to whoever wants to use it. The only requirement is for the website to have a significant amount of contents in Catalan. Any person, organisation or company, whether or not it is located in Catalonia, can register a .cat if its site is includes a minimum amount of contents in Catalan.

This requirement is shown at every domain registrar when buying the domain (although the registrar you used could certainly have a better UI for this kind of messages...).

In order to fulfill this, you'd need to offer a Catalan version of the website (just translating the texts is enough, you can use Google Translate for this, since it's pretty accurate)

It would be nice to give the cat a "script" that it can play and then for it to generate a link, so I can send the song to other people. E.g. a friend of mine has birthday and I wanted to send him the cat playing happy birthday but instead I have to send him the link with the keys to press.

We need examples for JoJo's bizzarre adventures theme songs. I believe it would reach out to a big fandom, so therefore investing time in it can be rewarding.

If you looked at the site, my version has a recording feature, as well as 3 cats instead of one. the multi-cat thing doesn't need to happen, but I think a recording feature would make your version even better! Also, maybe, like mine, you can switch instruments? Like, say, the Piano could be switched to a Guitar, so 1-9 keys could play a Guitar instead? Either way, amazing site!

I figured this was a simple static site, and it could easily be hosted on IPFS, so here I went 🙂

It would be cool if one could copy a series of letters or numbers into your computer's paste buffer so that the bongo cat will play them for you, having pressed Cmd-V, Ctl-V or using the browser's Edit -> Paste menu feature. It doesn't seem to work on Safari, for what it's worth.

Oh... and the ability to add a rest in that "." would be awesome-sauce.

Chrome just outputs in console Lowlag is undefined, when a key is pressed it doesn't play a sound but it'll still switch musical objects

Thank you for making this! It will be great to have an octave for piano and marimba. An octave only need 13 keys, and I think most of the keyboards have space for that. We can just put the notes from left to right, intuitively and feasibly.

When you press the space key to make Bongo Cat meow, the "meow" is delayed.
