azdo.vstsdashboard's Issues

Enable extension for certain role or project only

Currently once the extension is installed, it is available for all projects and everyone can view it. It would nice to only make this extension available for user with certain role (like: Global Administrator) or certain projects only.

Show GitHub Action Build/Release in the Dashboard

Because it's possible to release from artifacts builds from:

  • GitHub Action
  • Docker Hub
  • Jenkins

It's could be interesting to include the trace of it from this Dashboard.

Worth it to start with GitHub Actions

Better look and feels

Look and feels of this application has been made quickly to ensure basic functionalities are working.

For sure we can make it better... UI mocked up is welcome ;)

Projects not found if install path is not https://devopsservername/DefaultCollection

Hello Team,
we are facing an issue that if the path to DevopsServer Collection is different from https://devopsservername/DefaultCollection the projects are not found(in our case it is https://devopsservername/tfs/DefaultCollection)

2020-04-08 08_27_18-Window

On a Dev/Lab system where the path is set as https://labdevopsservername/DefaultCollection the Projects are found correctly.

Can you please check from your end, as the Dashboard would be a really great help for us.

THX and BR,
Jan

Build used in multiple release

If a build is used as artifact into some release definition, should be interesting to list that Release to in the deployment health

Last release on Summary view

Seems to have a regression, last release of build reference isn't showed as expected. Seems to show the first one.

Statistics Tabs

Add a statistics tabs that include this metrics:

  • Builds Success/Failure
  • Release Success/Failure

Exceeding rate limiting thresholds

After installing this add-on (great add-on btw), we started getting warnings from DevOps that our usage had exceeded rate limiting thresholds and DevOps became very slow.

We have a fairly large project with approximately 60 build pipelines, and 20-50 releases per build.

Could the add-on be optimised for large use case scenarios such as ours?
