advanced-ui-menus's Issues

[B]Could not get delete menu to popup

Yesterday i ran into an issue with the delete menu. I did not study the all if very properly but in edit mode i would just not show. First i thought it perhaps not getting the first call properly so i tried in object mode and then in edit mode. Still nothing was showing.

Below is a screengrab of the error i saw in the console.

Not sure why the mode shows up though? Not even sure how that is related. I was busy and didnt want to forget about it so i made a quick screengrab and eventually deleted it by using the mesh menu.

[B] First run shading menu gives error last_mode

I noticed when we first run the shading menu it gives this error for last_mode. I think adding a check at startup will solve this. Not every users start in the same shading mode, so hardcoding this wont be an option.

[Q] Does this only work with 2.79?

osx 10.10.2
bl 2.78c

I didnt get the 2.79 warning which i ometimes see with other addons. Im using 2.78c and i see this error;

File "/Users/romboutversluijs/Library/Application Support/Blender/2.78/scripts/addons/Advanced-UI-Menus/__init__.py", line 85, in scene_update_post_reg
    keymodes.opposingkeys(False)
  File "/Users/romboutversluijs/Library/Application Support/Blender/2.78/scripts/addons/Advanced-UI-Menus/Utils/keymodes.py", line 34, in opposingkeys
    km = wm.keyconfigs.active.keymaps[mode]
KeyError: 'bpy_prop_collection[key]: key "Object Non-modal" not found'

[B]Subdive mesh above 1 collapses mesh

v 1.5b
bl 2.79b
os 10.11.6

I know this sounds weird, and i have noticed before. But when i add an object and use subdivide in edit mode, from dive 2 and up the complete mesh collapses. It happens with all meshes and also in both Blender versions i have (2.79b, 2.78c). When deactivating the addon the subdivide menu does work and mesh keeps its form.

Looking in the console i dont see any error report or what so ever. I dont understand why it would mess with mesh, because that doesnt make any sense to me

See attached screengrab
subdivide-causes-mesh-collapse

It does work when i add first one subdivision, go to object mode, go back into edit mode and than do more subdivisions.

See screengrab 2
subdivide-causes-no-collapse

PS current version doesnt remove the hotkeys. That is the test version i got, i think i need to check that part

Sweet!!! 2.80 dev version

Nice i see you are working on 2.80 version. I miss this one so bad!

PS did you also add all the stuff we were talking about in that other thread?

Help menu added

I had an idea to add a help menu so users can quickly view the hotkeys. Problem is that i could get the keys but the call_menu is stuck to a certain design. So i could not make columns in the menu. I tried many different approaches, but just wont work nice.

I though about adding BGL although its working. You can only view this in 3D viewport i believe.

This is what i got now. All the keys showing are real active keys set, its not hardcoded.

I still need to make it work better, now placement is sort hardcode. Need to make it more dynamic

PS i updated to you latest version 1.5b, make a new pull request with that source.
