k6 Website Load Test

This repo is created to practice the use of k6. To conduct basic load testing up to stress tests for a website.

Stress Testing

Stress testing is a type of load testing used to determine the limit of the system. The purpose of this test is to verify the stability and reliability of the system under extreme conditions.

Conditions to run a stress test :-

  • to determine how the system will behave under extreme conditions
  • to determine the maximum capacity of the system in terms of users or throughout
  • to determine the breaking point of the system and the failure mode
  • to determine if the system will recover without manual intervention
