jigoshop-snippets's Issues

Display just the parent category

Is it possible to tweak the display sub categories code to display just the parent category instead of all the child categories?

I noticed someone else had wrote a custom function but I'm not having much luck with it?

Any help you can offer would be great

Thanks

Craig

'Order by' query is not following catalog configurations

'Order by' query is not following catalog configurations presets and always return the catalog sorted by lowest price.

I've fixed this using 'wp_reset_query()' if page URL contains '?orderby', right after the custom query, but I'm not sure if this is the best, recommended solution.

Sub Categories Lists All Grandchildren as Well

Is there a way to get it to list only the direct subcategories, and not trace through the whole structure?
I was trying to figure it out but it seems get_term_children() doesn't have any way to limit the depth. I couldn't figure out how to change it to get_terms() and correctly pull the categories, but I'm guessing that would be the route to go for my issue.

Even if it could create a hierarchical list of the categories, that would be more useful.

I appreciate the code for this though, it was so hard to find a way to list sub categories for Jigoshop!
