hologram's Issues

Grouping object - Position relative to world, not to parent

I think when you child objects their position should be relative to the parent. In this case it's relative to the world 0,0,0 position so when you child something it automatically apply this world position as if the parent was the 0,0,0 position. This is a bit annoying.

Working Scene - Moving around not working

I don't find any way to move around my scene. Using keyboard keys such as WQSD is not having any effect. How should I do to move the camera around my scene, just so I could do my level design?

Importing Google Blocks Object Then Scaling Can Not Undo Action

I imported one of my own created objects from BLOCKS. I accidentally scaled it by grabbing it in world coordinate views and then attempted to UNDO the action but was unable to

  1. Download an object
  2. Scale it
  3. Try to undo the past action
  4. This will cause the object to not adhere to the undo command.

Design view sometimes doesn't display objects

The core of the issue is what is the appropriate flow to add an imported google blocks model.
This is a tricky one. After a little bit of use in a new scene I noticed that the objects are not visible from imported models.

I created a scene and added in some google blocks objects.

  1. Added a 3d model
  2. Change it to the model that was imported
  3. Drop it into the designer area (the model is invisible)
  4. Preview and it shows up...

UI Occlusion

There is some sort of UI element occlusion. When moving around an object, some of the tools disappear behind objects. see attached video

Linux support?

Linus support would be really nice
(If anyone has alternatives for a while. pls tell me)

Full Screen Mode UI Overlap

When entering the full screen mode, play button is overlapping with window's options (see screenshot). This means I only can close the window by pressing play, then stop. to quit the full screen mode

readme.md does not seem full for running locally

So, I've done make dist and make but am not seeing how to run Hologram locally on my OSX.

If I then experiment and try and run the dist/hologram.js using node, it just shoots this error:

hologram/dist >> node hologram.js /Users/esaruoho/holo/hologram/dist/hologram.js:1 (function (exports, require, module, __filename, __dirname) { !function(modules){function __webpack_require__(moduleId){if(installedModules[moduleId])return installedModules[moduleId].exports;var module=installedModules[moduleId]={exports:{},id:moduleId,loaded:!1};return modules[moduleId].call(module.exports,module,module.exports,__webpack_require__),module.loaded=!0,module.exports}var installedModules={};return __webpack_require__.m=modules,__webpack_require__.c=installedModules,__webpack_require__.p="",__webpack_require__(0)}([function(module,exports,__webpack_require__){var Hologram;window._Image=Image,window.console.silence=function(){},Hologram={_properties:{}},Hologram.Version=__webpack_require__(1),console.log("Hologram Build "+Hologram.Version.build),__webpack_require__(2),__webpack_require__(11),__webpack_require__(12),__webpack_require__(13),__webpack_require__(14),Hologram.define=function(name,args){return Object.defineProperty(this,name,args)},Hol

Please could you update the documentation so it is easier to comprehend what this repo is supposed to do, especially if one is a non-developer such as me.
