@afrocodes very weird. Are you able to view this font in those browsers?

Its very strange that the first letter (which is uppercase) is missing in all those text cases.

I added another image to show the US Fire map sample.
The font seems to be missing the first letter when I open up the link, with more of the first letters missing in IE than FF. Here are screen shots:

Looks like this is an issue with the google font. We might have to wait for Google to fix it. https://code.google.com/p/googlefontdirectory/issues/detail?id=331
