Excellent tool. I can handle single book pdf easily. But what will be the process to include multiple books with unique URL for each included book?

each time i flip page i have this error in my console offsetParent is not set -- cannot scroll in Viewr.js file line 156 .

any ideas how to solve it or why it's not catching the parent of the element

It works great, but if you have a URL in the PDF, it doesn't open it or detect the links.

First Thank You for such a nice flip-book to be able to selfhost. I am happy & pleased with it.

One little issue I like to resolve and got this partially working, but it is still not satisfactory.
The original transition-duration is 200ms (if I am correct here) and I find this very fast.
Looking through the files, I found so far 2 files which have the settings, one is /pdfjs/viewer.js between line 341 - 386 and /turnjs/zoom.min.js line 18
I change the 200ms to 2s but it is not correctly picked up, means, flipping through the book in one direction the NEW duration is not picked up, flipping backwards right after, the new duration is picked up somewhat. With somewhat I mean, it is still not the full 2s (which is too slow, but I had to jump it up that much to see some reduction in speed).

Am I missing some entries somewhere ?
Any hints are very welcome.

I want to open a pdf at a specific page
i add in the init function $('#magazine').turn('page',10) to open the pdf at page 10
But it is not working unless I triggered it on click on a button.

I downloaded the repo, unzipped it into a folder, added a page1.pdf. PDF file was made using Libre Office

and as per the repo README.md, replaced the file name in

> to define the src, open pdfjs/viewer.js and change to line 30.

var DEFAULT_URL =  "compressed.tracemonkey-pldi-09.pdf";

replaced the file name above to page1.pdf and then clicked index.html in the folder.

But it keeps spinning even though the PDF was a single page, single sentence in content. Please tell me how build a Flip Book using this repo and kindly correct me if I am wrong. Thanks.

PDF will not shown as Flip Book instead of that displaying always loading image only while open the index.html file

By using a pdf with bookmarks the jump to page links are not working.

Any fast idea to link that action to $("#magazine").turn('page', x);

1 Create HTML file and put all the libraries in the same folder

when i clicked the link it throws the following error in the browser, eventhough the PDF exist in the same folder where viewer.html is. I'm not running this in webserver. I want to make it work it locally in my system. I don't need a web-server for local viewing. i have created a standalone HTML file which is created for my local PC use.....

hey dude!, love the project. this is very cool. i was wondering if you could add a feature to download the flipbook file? there is a download option but i believe its to download the original pdf and not the flipbook?. i know its a lot of work but i would really appreciate it if you could add that feature :)

i am publishing for an non profit organization named Desert Flower Foundation an magazine.
i want to use this flipbook to put an online veriosn on our website.

its work great but i have some questions about optical issues.

1. is it possible to avoid the dissaperaring of left handed page when i move the mouse cursor over the upper/lower edge of the right handed page to flip to the next page (and vice versa)?

2. there are when flipping the page two loading indicators on the next and on the prevoius page (the flipping page is on booth sides ok). is it possible to (pre-)load the next page in the background to avoid flipping to a blank page? (its the same also when flipping backwards)

3. on the front page appears an blank page left handed when trying to flip to the next page.

The file is an regular pdf optimized for web viewing and has an filesize from aprox 6 MBs.

Amazing tool, you saved my life really!. But I have a problem, I need to see 1 big page instead of 2 medium-littles pages
Is there any way that we can only see 1 page in a higher size and not 2 pages?

I've noticed that there is no way to select the original text.
Now, if I understood the current implementation, a canvas gets drawn from the original div's generated by the PDF.js.
¿Is there a plan to add a text layer?
