Recently I incorporated an adapted version of this code into one of my projects.
All goes well, except for large attachments. For attachments which seem to exceed on libcurl call ~ 4000H characters, a string of garbage is appended to the message.
Also, the last attachment is not terminated with the BOUNDRY string.
My SMTP server (not GMail )did not complain about either problem, but inspecting the code with either Wireshark or viewing the source code readily showed the issue.
My fix:
