I primarily code in C/++ as a hobby and officially work as a full-stack developer. However, I'm mostly known for messing with Windows on an unusally sophisticated low level. 🛠

Software won't execute on Windows XP RTM and SP1

Hi.

When I attempt to execute this software on Windows XP RTM and SP1, the software throws out an error, then exit out.

However, it seems that it can work out of the box on Windows XP SP2 and higher.

How is this happening and can it be patched out?

Kind of confusing to download...

I was having problems downloading it, I kept downloading the wrong files. You may want to make it clearer where to get the .exe file. But, thank you very much. You saved my XP machine! It had some hardware fail, triggering good ol' Windows Product Activation/Genuine Advantage to kick in.
