These are a bit EV-D68 specific - I tried to be more diverse but I know this dataset best. I wanted to do the pie-chart-through-time video with Flu, but it really needs to be at region level, and they seem to have transmissions at region level, which detracts from the Pie Charts.

1. We don't mean to boast, but Nextstrain is famous for its interactive and intuitive visuals - but now they're even better!

2. We are really pleased to announce a major upgrade to our amazing visualisation tool, Auspice! You can find all the details here (link), but let's walk through some of the highlights!

3. Pie Charts! Categorical traits are no longer blurred together - now it's easy to see exactly how traits relate to location - and time!
   
   

4. Better position mouseover! Ever gotten really zoomed into your organism's genome, and wished you knew how nucleotide position and codon relate? Now you know! And position bars are more accurately plotted :)
   

5. Better branch and tip mouseover! See more details about the sequence, the traits, and what mutations it has - AA and nucleotide, together!
   

6. Better X-axis labels! Now axes are more intuitively divided, and will switch to Year-Month and Year-Month-Day labelling as you zoom.
   

7. More consistent unknown colouring! It's easy to tell what data is gaps and what data is missing - it'll always be grey, and always be at the end of the legend.
