MAKEFLAGS line is ignored if commented out

Thanks for this script, very useful.
I discovered that if MAKEFLAGS is commented out in etc/makepkg.conf, then no changes will be applied and even in statusFn() it is being ignored.
my /etc/makepkg.conf:

#-- Make Flags: change this for DistCC/SMP systems
#MAKEFLAGS="-j$(nproc)"

I think it would be good to have at least the statusFn pick the setting up if it is commented out and report that.
