100% syntax test coverage
Need to make tests for all the various syntaxes. This should probably be done before anything else to ensure backwards compatibility when adding new goodies
Templates as Strings
Is there any plan to allow passing templates as strings rather than relying on templates/ dir structure?
Implement ParseFile vs hard coding path assumptions.
no way to tell goson what file it should be parsing due to TemplateRoot.
Increase performance
Use mem and cpu profilers to investigate possible performance culprits.
Add readme header for performance
Talk a bit about the performance of goson and how it accomplishes to reach that level of performance. Also post benchmarks comparing it against encoding/json
add token caching
token cache is not used for template partials
Template partials do not currently cache tokens.
Possible to template json arrays?
How would I go about rendering a field array containing, not objects, but primitives (bool, int, float, string)?
Example struct:
type Stats struct {
Weights: []int
}
How do I convert some instance of this struct into json that looks like this?
{"stats": {"weights": [4,2,2] } }
allow numbers in keys
All key names to consist of numbers
