We are installing it already for Travis runs, but if you were to run it locally it may not be available.
I think that we should provide a warning during build and/or test if it isn't available (similar to what we do if phantom isn't available), and provide another rake tast to actually do the install (perhaps 'rake defeatureify:install' or something).
If that makes sense, I can work up a PR today for this...

I agree with @rjackson. We shouldn't auto-install it, but we should definitely do a check like we do with phantom.
