this likely will improved (or at least be documented) but adding the file to https://github.com/stefanpenner/ember-cli/blob/master/skeleton/Brocfile.js#L60-L64 should do the trick.

from ember-cli.

@stefanpenner where should we put stylesheets?

from ember-cli.

stefanpenner avatar stefanpenner commented on May 22, 2024

@ulisesrmzroche app/styles for now

from ember-cli.

So if we want to say use d3 I would first install d3 with bower, then once d3 is available in /vendor we will add the file location to the list

legacyFilesToAppend: [
  'jquery.js',
  'handlebars.js',
  'ember.js',
  'ember-data.js',
  'ember-resolver.js',
  'vendors/d3.js`
],

So that from next time d3 is included in index.html and for my tests, available for importing and not available as global. Am I right?

So for a package available through bower I can do

  1. add the package to bower.json
  2. add the file to brocfile.js

This two steps should do the trick?

from ember-cli.

It worked for me by just putting foundation.js on its own, w/out
specifying the vendor directory. It's probably the same with d3.

@ulisesrmzroche it is (this is slightly unexpected until you realize what its doing)

I'll add a quick note above legacyFilesToAppend telling the user what it does

from ember-cli.
