wpt-api's Introduction

Mozilla wpt-api

license Documentation Status Build Status Dependabot Status

Using Pat Meenan's amazing WebPageTest with Marcel Duran's super-handy NodeJS wrapper API in webpagetest-api, this project tests, captures, submits, and visualizes key Web-performance metrics for a modified Alexa top 50 sites list using Firefox "Quantum" release and Nightly desktop builds, and Google Chrome release and Canary (Nightly) builds, all on Linux (Ubuntu 18.04 LTS).

Special thanks to Peter Hedenskog and the entire Wikimedia Performance team for getting me (and many others!) started and seeing me through, all the way here.

Stack: AWS (EC2 AMIs), Docker, Jenkins (Declarative Pipeline), Python, JavaScript
