some url links in elmaven documentation pages are redirecting to the same documentation page rather than to direct it to some other sites with which the links are associated.

**Elucidata/El-Maven relationship
(a) Do we want to have the Elucidata brand on the El-Maven website? Or do we want the main brand to be El-Maven? There are definitely benefits to it seeming less corporate - on the other hand, it is on elucidatainc.github.io. If we want to make it seem maximally open source, we would use another github repository (e.g. elmaven.github.io) to put it up on.

(b) Along the same lines, for contact info, I would consider having a separate name and contact for El Maven. And I would reserve the El Maven domain name “elmaven.org”. Then have the contact name forward to Elucidata. It is important to keep the distance between Elucidata and El Maven - many of the best developers are pretty sensitive to corporate interference in Open Source code. Make it so that El Maven could arguably continue without Elucidata.

Other thoughts
(c) I would simplify the descriptions. Web pages are generally scanned.
Automatic Peak Detection: Automatically detect peaks with great accuracy, in hours rather than days. Improved alignment, grouping and annotation.
Multiple built-in Tools: Adaptable. Ability to process both MS as well as MS/MS data from LC/GC-MS experiments. A variety of widgets for flexible workflows: perform Targeted, Untargeted, and Isotopic Analysis with a single tool.

(d) In “history", I would be more direct. “El Maven was originally based on Maven, an open source…” I would skip the logic behind the name - again, we don’t necessarily want Elucidata to appear too often. You don’t want it to appear at all commercial.

(e) The “Request a Feature” and “Report a Bug” should appear before history and partners, as these are generally more relevant to viewers and more useful to “Elucidata" if they are used.

Smaller issues

• The “L” in El-Maven is consistently higher than the E in the font that is being used. There is something not quite right about this. I’m not sure why it occurs.
• Need space between “Personalizable.” and “The”
• Replace “on Developer Manual” with “in Developer Manual"
• "reimagines data visualisations" should be "reimagines data visualisation"
• Get rid of “Faster and Accurate Processing”. Not specific enough.
• “in-built” should be “built-in"
• “upto” should be “up to”
• “Agios” - use full company name. "Agios Pharmaceuticals, Inc."
• "Request us a feature you'll like to see in ElMaven.” should be “Request a feature you'd like to see in ElMaven.**

On the home page. Redirects to the home page again.

In the readme on the El-Maven repo the older version of the logo has been used.

Also add the Elucidata logo

The official name of the software, 'El-Maven', should be used everywhere. Currently, the software is referred to as 'ElMaven' and 'El Maven' in different places.

The user has to go looking for documentation to download ElMaven on linux.

El-Maven does not have isotopic flux animator, pathway visualizer or adduct calculator. The adduct calculator has not been tested at least.

It should link to the website.

Maybe we should also call them user manuals or tutorials.

It should have Cambridge address & [email protected] email ID.

At the top of the page. Otherwise the user has to scroll below to see what is present.

Comparing it to the original project is fine but we need to do more. For example, that it is robust, can handle more data etc.
