The load callback "may" be async, so we should support async await for such cases. Can be optional, just check if the callback function is async and return a promise.

This is needed for the "file" hook in Waveorb.

setup.config.yml is parsed as a text file, not yml.

Want to be able to include any kind of file, with caching option. Similar to require but for all files: yml, json, js, md, txt, bin

At the moment paths starting with ./ doesn't seem to work:

loader.load('./lib')

This might be a problem all the way into extras (using tree).

After this is done, it can be used with waveorb-schema to include all files in index.

Empty file .gitkeep parses to this:

filters: { '': '' }

Should probably skip files starting with dot?

If we want to load the files that are for production while in development, it makes sense to be able to override that.
