• Color per character (or per region?)

Examples are developped from my tests, they have a lot of remnants of previous experiments. Removing them will affect nothing from the expected result.

Currently the whole canvas is refreshed even if only one character changed. Maybe check for each character if it's dirty or refresh regions?

Which one should I use?

terminal(self, canvas_width, canvas_height, font, custom_char_width, custom_char_height)

or

terminal(self, num_chars_in_row, num_chars_in_column, font, custom_char_width, custom_char_height)

I cannot get text input using io.read().
I have tried to adding my own io.read() within the terminal program and can't figure out much.
The error is at like 62 and it says "bad argument #1 to 'floor' (number expected, got nil)".

Structure idea

@[command],arg1,arg2,.... @@ to print an escaped @
