Docker Demo Application

This is a Go demo application used for demonstrating Docker and load balancing.

Environment Variables

  • TITLE: sets title in demo app
  • SHOW_VERSION: show version of app in ui (VERSION env var)
  • REFRESH_INTERVAL: interval in milliseconds for page to refresh (default: 1000)
  • SKIP_ERRORS: set this to prevent errors from counting (useful on janky load balancers)
  • METADATA: extra text at bottom of info area

docker-demo's Issues

Sticky session seems not working

Hi,

I tried to follow the docs here: https://docs.docker.com/ee/ucp/interlock/usage/sessions/ to setup sticky session for my stack. I'm able to spin up your demo. But sticky session seems not happen. I am still getting different instance on each call.

Also, the doc seems incomplete. I guess you are assuming this demo is running behind a reverse proxy which is listening on port 80? Or we have to publish port 8080. I would appreciate if you could provide a comprehensive example. Thanks for your time.
