This is a Python application built with Streamlit, Plotly and Pandas that allows users to view a chart of the "Happiness and Alcohol Consumption" dataset.
This application presents a scatter plot of alcohol consumption data against the happiness score (and some other options) for different regions of the world. Users can filter the data by region and choose which variables to plot on the X and Y axes of the chart. The dataset used in this application was obtained from the Kaggle repository.
To install and run this application locally, you'll need to follow these steps:
- Clone this repository to your local machine.
- Install the required dependencies by running the following command in your terminal:
pip install -r requirements.txt
. - Run the application by running the following command in your terminal:
streamlit run main.py
. - Open your browser and go to the address http://localhost:8501 to view the application.
When you open the application in your web browser, you'll see a scatter plot of selected data for all regions of the world. You can filter the data by region using the dropdown menu. You can also choose which variables to plot on the X and Y axes of the chart using the dropdown menus.
