starbase-ships's Issues

Material Point Scanner on Rigger functions incorrectly due to a shared variable.

Material Scanner will not point toward rangefinder without small tweak.

1. Rename 'sp' to 'spc' on the material scanner turret itself
2. Add 'spc' to one of the four memory chips
3. Update line 4 of the scanner yolo to:
d=:Distance+x if:Distance>0thend=y/d*r end :spc=d

The reason I could find is the speedometer. The speedometer part has a device parameter 'sp'.

I don't know if this is stock, or from a recent update to the game or to the ship blueprint. But, this is the issue causing the material scanner to pitch up and down wildly and unable to scan unless touching an asteroid.

I left the pre-existing variable 'sp' on the memory card because I wasn't sure if it had other uses in other yolo code.

For your ship Lugger, 1.0.5 version is not heat updated

Hi! I love your ship so far.
I noticed though that the latest version 1.0.5.fbe is not updated with heat sinks and there is still a warp gate key in it.

I was in the middle of making those updates when I thought, maybe you didn't check in your very latest because in Starbase Ship Shops you mentioned that you had done both those things.

If you like I can submit my fbe. I did repaint the ship White with Black pops, and it looks pretty swank, but to each their own taste.

Rigger - Design note

Decided to pull your ship into the editor and take a look, amazing work
One thing I did was add another 4 mining lasers to the advanced turret mounts on the sides, just copied your own..
ship mines (Only with pulse enabled mind you) MUCH smoother, and IMO provides a nicer experience ๐Ÿก
