Throttle Tabs

What does this extension do?

It allows you to limit your tabs to a set maximum. After the max number of tabs is reached, the least recently viewed tab is hidden in an overflow menu. The overflow menu can be throttled as well so that after a certain amount it will discard old tabs for good.

Why?

There are only that many tabs that a human can keep track of.

Add a close button besides each tab

Looking through the list of tabs, you can sometimes tell that certain tabs can be closed immediately. A close button that appears when you hover over a particular item would be nice.

Currently, if you're in this situation, you need to click the tab to have it load in the regular tab UI and then close it which is a two step process.

Question: do overflow tabs persist between sessions?

I'm using Firefox Nightly and so frequently am prompted to restart the browser. If I do this while there are tabs in Overflow, will those tabs persist to the next restart, or go away? And could you add this info to the README or the add-on documentation within Add-ons Manager?
