Hi, I'm Edward

Currently studying computer engineering at NTU. You can find some of my projects here.

🔭 My projects generally involve:

Low-power IoT systems such as sensors, gateway devices
Wireless networks (i.e. Thread, BLE, Zigbee)
Embedded AI, compression techniques and hardware accelerators
Mixed signal and RF PCB design, 3D printed enclosures

🌱 My current research interests:

Hybrid vision transformers on edge devices
Spiking neural networks

ESP32-CAM module incorrectly marks RST pin as GND

OV2640 Image Problems on Reinitialization

Image is underexposed and tinted green on reinitialization of the camera driver and cycling of power control enable pin.

Detector module image capture

To do:

Capture 240x240 img
Convert to jpeg and store in spiffs
Crop to 96x96 to feed to detector

Feature: Use person detection to provide visualization of human activity over time.

Add feature to use results from person detection model to estimate human activity within the camera FoV over a period of time (i.e 24h) and visualize in graphical form in app.

Integration with I2DS

Trigger camera on subnetwork activation
Respond to Firebase prompts
Connect to coordinator with identification
